Bayern Munich is a professional football club based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. The club was founded in 1900 and has a long and successful history, having won 32 German championships, 20 DFB-Pokals,...and six UEFA Champions League titles. Bayern Munich's home stadium is the Allianz Arena, which has a capacity of over 75,000 spectators and is one of the most modern football stadiums in Europe.
Bayern Munich's home kits are traditionally red and white. The club's first-ever jersey was light blue inspired by the Bavarian flag. 10 years later, Bayern switched to their trademark colours red and white in the form of vertical stripes. During the 1990s, Bayern started to use a lot of blue for their home shirt, which caused an outrage in recent times. Eventually, this led to the club banning the colour on their home shirts back in 2018. Traditionally, Bayern München's alternative jerseys are white and black / navy, but there is a lot more variation nowadays.
The club has one of the longest running kit supplier contracts in professional football since German brand Adidas sponsors the top-tier team since 1974. The current kit manufacturer is Adidas, and the club has a partnership with the company that runs until 2030.
